MILWAUKEE, Wis. -  Midwest Woodwork Inc., manufacturers of custom cabinetry, architectural woodwork and retail environments, says it is in first stage negotiations for an initial investment of $5.5 million by billionaire construction firm owner Nassef Sawiris.

The Waukesha, Wis., company also announced its plans to relocate, and will lease a new headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The new lease is expected to include a 100,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, including cutting edge computer operated production machinery, according to Frankie Jordan, CEO.

"We are currently working with  CBRE | Industrial Brokerage Services in Dallas, Texas in search for our new facility," says Jordan.

"We are also working with Stiles Machinery out of Grand Rapids, Mich., to assist us in designing our new plant. We will invest $1.5 million in fully automated machinery to help provide rapid turnaround times to meet the toughest schedules with the highest degree of accuracy and quality."

Jordan says Midwest Woodwork plans on pursuing high-end residential millwork, and large commercial millwork projects throughout the United States, with an emphasis on Texas, Las Vegas, and California. Midwest Woodwork currently produces millwork for every segment of the commercial market, including retail, hospitality, gaming, institutional, performing arts, religious facilities, corporate and specialty projects.
